Smaart Live V9 - ~upd~

The flagship version containing all three measurement modes: Real-Time, Impulse Response, and SPL.

While the Spectrograph existed in v8, v9 integrates it seamlessly. This "waterfall" view of frequency over time is perfect for identifying feedback frequencies. You can literally see a 1kHz ring start to build before the audience hears it. smaart live v9

At its core, SMAART Live v9 is a real-time FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analyzer. Unlike simple RTA (Real Time Analyzer) apps that only show you frequency levels, SMAART compares two signals: a reference (what you are sending to the speakers) and a measurement (what a microphone picks up in the room). The flagship version containing all three measurement modes:

Once aligned, you use the to view the average of 20 seconds of pink noise. You can literally see a 1kHz ring start

At its core, is a dual-channel, FFT-based audio measurement platform. FFT stands for Fast Fourier Transform, a mathematical algorithm that converts a time-domain signal (what you see on an oscilloscope or hear in real-time) into a frequency-domain representation (what you see on a spectrum analyzer).
