Visually, the film is stunning. The "mirror jumpscare" is overused, but the production design—specifically the antique mirror housing the evil spirit—is top-notch. Bhatt manages to maintain a sense of dread throughout the 140-minute runtime. However, a common critique is that the film leans too heavily on CGI.
