Download the standard 32-bit x360ce application package to a temporary, empty directory on your desktop. Run x360ce.exe once inside this temporary folder to auto-detect your plugged-in USB gamepad, configure buttons, and hit Save to create an x360ce.ini mapping profile. Close the application completely.

Move your previously generated x360ce.ini file from your desktop folder into this same target directory. Warning: Do not run the 32-bit x360ce.exe application within the 64-bit game folder, as it can overwrite your 64-bit runtime libraries with incompatible 32-bit files.
