Homebrew

Install on macOS or Linux with Homebrew:

brew install nyg/jmxsh/jmxsh

JAR

Download the release JAR and run it directly:

java -jar jmxsh-<version>.jar

Debian/Ubuntu

Add the repository and install:

The (codenamed RH-105 ) is a classic ultra-basic feature phone from the early 2000s. Despite its simplicity, it can suffer from software corruption, boot loops, or complete "dead" behavior. Restoring it requires a flash file (firmware) and specialized tools.

Before we discuss software, let’s look at the hardware:

RH-105 refers specifically to the Nokia 1208 (dual band GSM 900/1800). Do not confuse with RH-100 (Nokia 1200) or RH-106 (Nokia 1209), as firmware is not interchangeable despite similar hardware.
