The kingdom of Vengozhuvur is ruled by the evil queen Vasundhara (Sridevi, in her Tamil debut) and her husband, King Ramaneeswaran (Sudeep). The queen has the power to freeze people and has enslaved the tribe. Marudheeran embarks on a mission to end her tyranny, aided by a princess (Shruti Haasan) and a rebellious courtesan (Hansika Motwani).
