We meet Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor), a free-spirited travel junkie with a pathological fear of settling down. Naina (Deepika Padukone) is his polar opposite—a shy, studious introvert wearing thick glasses and a metaphorical emotional armor. A spontaneous trekking trip to Manali throws them together with the loud-mouthed Avi (Aditya Roy Kapur) and the pragmatic Aditi (Kalki Koechlin). Here, love sparks in a snowstorm, but Bunny’s dreams of a global wanderlust life tear them apart.
While the Bunny-Naina romance is the engine, the friendship between Bunny and Avi, and Naina and Aditi, is the chassis. The film’s most devastating line isn't "I love you"; it's Bunny looking at an old photo of Avi and whispering, "He was my best friend." It reminds us that romantic love is fleeting, but the acceptance of old friends is sacred. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
