The Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation is widely recognized as the gold standard for risk management professionals worldwide. Administered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), the FRM certification validates a professional's ability to analyze and control credit risk, market risk, and operational risk. However, the path to becoming FRM certified is rigorous. The pass rates for Part 1 historically hover around 40% to 50%, making effective preparation a non-negotiable priority.

Technically, yes. GARP provides the official FRM Part 1 eBook as a downloadable PDF when you register for the exam. This is a massive file (over 2,500 pages).
