Corrupted parameters are a prime suspect.

In older FANUC systems, the operating system is stored on ROM chips. In newer models (Series 30i/31i/32i), it is stored in Flash ROM (FROM). If a chip is physically unseated (due to vibration) or has suffered electrical damage, the system cannot load the necessary drivers, resulting in a boot failure.
