One day, Raja accidentally rescues a stray dog (which he names Gulab Singh ) and they become inseparable. Meanwhile, the daughter of a police officer (Mehreen Pirzada) is kidnapped by a powerful gangster (Prakash Raj). The police officer learns of Raja’s extraordinary abilities and requests his help to track down the kidnappers using his heightened senses — without revealing that the girl is the officer's daughter.
