This project, along with others in the genre, served as a proof of concept. They demonstrated that an audience existed for a female-led superhero property that wasn't a parody. In retrospect, these films paved the way for the acceptance of the 2017 Wonder Woman movie. They kept the character alive in the public consciousness for a demographic that was hungry for more content.
