Andjela Mitkovski was not always a public figure. Born in the early 1990s in Serbia, during the tumultuous post-Yugoslav era, she grew up in a household where traditional superstition was commonplace. Unlike many of her peers who rejected "baba's stories" (grandmother’s tales), Andjela embraced them. By her late teens, she was already known locally for her unusual ability to interpret dreams, read coffee grounds ( turska kafa ), and perform simple bajalice (incantations).
