In the early days of the Hackintosh scene (the OSx86 project), users had to patch kernel files manually. This required a high degree of technical knowledge. To make the process accessible, groups began releasing "distros"—modified operating system images that included the necessary patches, drivers, and bootloaders pre-installed.
Some IT teams still manage images via a Windows Deployment Services (WDS) or FOG server. This ISO might serve as a bootable client to interface with those servers. Gmac10-x64.iso
