The narrative ignites when Izumo meets Tsubaki (Rie Miyazawa), a skilled acrobat and thief. As they fall in love, a mysterious red mark appears on Tsubaki's shoulder, revealing her true identity as the reincarnation of Ashura, the Queen of Demons. Meanwhile, a beautiful oni named Bizan plots to awaken Ashura's spirit fully to usher in a new era of demon rule over the human world.
