Installing an Option File on PS4 is a manual but straightforward process: PES 2016 | NEW OPTION-FILE 24/2025 | 6/9/24 | PC
The PESWorld team created a massive file covering every unlicensed league.
For the hardcore fan: Use the PES Master website to export specific teams. You can combine a Premier League file from one creator with a La Liga file from another. Warning: This is tedious but rewarding.
Most option files hide the Bundesliga in the fake "PEU League" (often called "Copa Libertadores 2" or "Plaza Mexico"). After import, go to Competition Structure and swap the fake teams with the real ones you just imported.
Released in late 2016, this is the final "super file."
Return to the main menu. You should see Liverpool (no longer "Merseyside Red") playing Arsenal (no longer "North London").
In the pantheon of modern football simulation, holds a special, golden place. Released in September 2015, it was heralded by critics as a return to form—a title that recaptured the fluid, organic "heart" of football that the franchise was famous for in the PS2 era. For many, it remains the last truly great PES game before the franchise shifted heavily toward microtransactions and the "Fox Engine" grew long in the tooth.
