Most Steam games use a dynamic link library (DLL) file—typically steam_api.dll or steam_api64.dll —to communicate with the Steam client. CreamAPI works through a "proxy" method:
Find either steam_api.dll or steam_api64.dll in the game folder. Rename it to steam_api_o.dll (the letter "O", not zero). If you mess up, you can revert by deleting the new DLL and restoring this original.
