If you have a pulled or untested C1124 and no printed datasheet, use a digital multimeter with diode test mode:

The primary application for the C1124 is switching. Because it is a PNP transistor, it is excellent for high-side switching. For example, in a microcontroller project, if you need to turn on a 24V light bulb using a 5V logic signal, you might use an NPN driver to control the base of the C1124, which then connects the bulb to the 24V rail.
