Unlike older consoles that used mostly identical screws, the PS5 (both the Standard and Digital Editions, as well as the newer "Slim" models) uses a variety of screw heads, lengths, and thread patterns. Using the wrong screw in the wrong hole can strip threads, crack plastic standoffs, or short-circuit the motherboard.
