A proper CLA requires a service manual. Without it, a technician cannot verify that the shutter speeds are within Canon’s original tolerance (typically ±15-20%). The manual provides the target values for oscilloscope testing.

Be careful: The "New F-1" (1981) is a completely different camera. Make sure you are downloading the manual for the Old F-1 (1971) if that is what you own. The New F-1 manual includes AE finder wiring diagrams that won't help you.
