Vol. 6 is often cited by fans as the best Homestuck album for emotional weight and atmosphere. It doesn’t have the raw meme power of Vol. 5 (“Crystalanthemums,” “Savior of the Waking World”) but instead builds a cohesive, tragic world through instrumental storytelling. Many of its tracks were later remixed or reprised in Vol. 9 , Vol. 10 , and Cherubim .
