The dreaded "black screen on reset" is mostly gone. IGR (holding L1+L2+R1+R2+Select+Start) now returns you to the main OPL menu 95% of the time, even for problematic titles like Shadow of the Colossus .
If you own a fat PS2, buy a network adapter and a 1TB SATA HDD. OPL 1.0.0’s HDD driver has zero lag in Jak II or Radiata Stories (notorious streaming-heavy games). Slim users should invest in a Raspberry Pi for SMB sharing.
