For decades, the clash between mechanical beasts known as Zoids has captivated fans worldwide. Unlike traditional mecha anime such as Gundam or Evangelion , Zoids focuses on giant, animal-like war machines—T-Rexes with laser cannons, sabre-toothed tigers with boosters, and spiders with particle beams. While the original plastic model kits (HMM by Kotobukiya and the classic TOMY motorized kits) are highly sought after, they can be expensive, rare, or difficult to assemble.
To ensure your Zoid isn't flimsy and can hold its pose, choosing the right paper weight is critical:
Papercraft Zoids have internal "bulkheads." Glue the skeleton first. Let it dry completely (30 minutes). If you glue the skin before the skeleton is dry, the entire leg will twist.
