The film's plot revolves around Allan Quatermain, a skilled hunter and adventurer, who is recruited by a mysterious organization known as the "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen." The League, comprising of Mina Harker, Captain Nemo, Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, and Dorian Gray, aims to stop the evil plans of the Shadow, which threatens to destroy the world. As the team comes together, they must learn to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal.
The League is formed by a wealthy benefactor, Lord M (Tom Wilkinson), who aims to use the unique skills of these individuals to prevent a villainous organization, led by the diabolical Doctor Wychwood, from obtaining a powerful piece of technology that could change the course of human history.
