Unlikely. Blizzard has moved on to Modern Classic (which runs on the retail engine). The private server community relies on the original 1.12.1 client for emulation accuracy. If Apple kills Rosetta 2 or removes OpenGL entirely, the only path forward will be (like QEMU) or a reverse-engineered open-source client.

The biggest hurdle is Apple’s ruthless efficiency. WoW 1.12.1 is a binary. Mac OS X 10.14 Mojave was the last OS that could run it natively. If you are running macOS Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, or Sonoma, the native app will not launch. Unlikely
