The BD25 is the standard single-layer Blu-ray disc. While a standard DVD holds about 4.7GB of data, a BD25 offers more than five times that capacity. This leap in storage was necessitated by the shift from Standard Definition (SD) to High Definition (HD). To display a movie in 1080p resolution with lossless surround sound, a disc needs to hold much more information than a DVD can provide. As the names suggest, BD50 holds 50GB of
