Jeff Buckley’s voice was an instrument of incredible texture. He could jump from a baritone growl to a falsetto wail in a single breath. The standard CD releases (16-bit/44.1kHz) capture this well, but they impose a "ceiling" on the sound. The 2022 high-resolution release removes that ceiling.
