The 3DM Launcher never supported GTA Online. Attempting to go online with a cracked version typically results in connection failure or a ban from Rockstar’s servers.

The launcher would hook into the Windows API (Application Programming Interface). Whenever GTA V.exe tried to call home to Rockstar’s activation servers, the 3DM .dll intercepted the call and returned a "200 OK" (success) signal instead. 3dm Launcher Gta 5
