If you decide to use Pimsleur, do not use it in isolation. Here is the "Ultimate Hybrid" routine for fluency:

While Pimsleur teaches the polite 요 form, it does not adequately teach when to switch to 합쇼체 (formal formal) for bosses or elders, nor when you can drop down to 반말 with close friends. This is a major social landmine in Korea. Pimsleur- Korean

Unlike a textbook that teaches you a word once and moves on, Pimsleur reintroduces vocabulary at specific intervals: 5 seconds, 25 seconds, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 hour, 5 hours, 1 day, etc. If you decide to use Pimsleur, do not use it in isolation
