The plot follows Rajveer Singh, affectionately known as RV (played by Saif Ali Khan), a New York-based taxi driver with a hidden talent for speed. Discovered by a racing team manager, RV skyrockets to fame, becoming the number one race car driver in the USA. He marries Radhika (Rani Mukerji), a music student from a conservative family, and they build a seemingly perfect life with their two children, Priya and Ranveer (lovingly called Princess and Champ).
