The "Class of 2003" entered secondary school during a time of rapid expansion in the Tanzanian education sector. Many of these students benefited from the "Big Results Now" (BRN) initiatives and other reforms that followed later in their academic careers, eventually joining the workforce or higher education institutions by the early 2010s.
