The Twilight Saga has often been criticized for its visual effects, particularly in the first film. However, by the time Eclipse was released, the VFX team had mastered the art of the digital wolf.

Eclipse is not high art. The dialogue can still be stilted ("You are my life now" is said with a straight face), and the visual effects for the wolves remain dated.
