Director Alma Har’el ( Honey Boy ) brings a tactile sensuality to the episode. The sound design is extraordinary: you can hear the scratch of a brush, the creak of a floorboard, the hum of a mosquito trapped between window panes. The score, by Hildur Guðnadóttir, alternates between a mournful cello and an almost imperceptible electronic hum that rises whenever Luca and Margot are in close proximity.
