AVEVA’s modern installers are bootstrapper executables. They use a setup.exe or PI-Datalink-YYYY.exe style. To run a silent install, you use command-line flags.
Check the log file for a return code 0 (success) or 3010 (success, reboot pending). Then, open Excel and check the "PI Datalink" tab appears in the ribbon. pi datalink silent install
