Boot your PlayStation 3 and sign into PSN. Step 2: Insert your Gran Turismo 5 disc. Step 3: The XMB (Cross Media Bar) will show the GT5 icon. Press the "Triangle" button and select "Check for Updates." Step 4: The system will scan. It will likely list updates from 1.01 all the way up to 2.11. You must install them sequentially.
