Born on December 26, 1981, in Tokyo, Japan, Mei Washio developed an interest in acting and singing from a young age. Growing up in a family that encouraged her creative pursuits, she began to hone her skills in voice acting, eventually enrolling in the prestigious Tokyo Academy of Music. After completing her studies, Mei Washio joined the voice acting agency, I've Sound, in 2002, marking the beginning of her professional career.
