Brown was a British Royal Navy test pilot who, at the end of World War II, was tasked with interrogating the Nazi regime’s most advanced jet and rocket aircraft. He flew the Me 163 Komet (a rocket plane that could disintegrate at any moment) and the Me 262 (the first operational jet fighter).
