Midas Civil Manual 🔔

Unlike general-purpose FEA software (like ANSYS or Abaqus) that requires you to manually define every physical law, MIDAS Civil is task-oriented. It has built-in wizards for construction staging, time-dependent material properties (creep and shrinkage), and moving load vehicles (HL-93, Eurocode, etc.).

| Manual Name | Description | |-------------|-------------| | | Basic operation, interface, modeling workflow, load application, and result interpretation. | | Analysis Manual | Detailed theoretical explanation of finite elements, boundary conditions, analysis types (linear static, construction stage, moving load, buckling, etc.). | | Design Manual | Code-specific design checks for reinforced concrete, steel, PSC (prestressed concrete), and composite bridges according to various international codes (AASHTO, Eurocode, British Standard, etc.). | | Tutorial Manual | Step-by-step examples (e.g., simply supported girder, cable-stayed bridge, arch bridge). | | Verification Manual | Benchmarks comparing MIDAS results with analytical solutions or other software. | | Command & Function Reference | Detailed description of each menu, command, and input parameter. | midas civil manual
