EA does not officially endorse Venice Unleashed. Historically, EA has turned a blind eye to VU because:
DICE has moved on to Battlefield 2042 and the next undisclosed Battlefield title. The source code for BF4 is locked in a vault in Sweden. Unless EA releases a "Legacy Edition" of BF4 with mod tools (which they have never done for Frostbite games), the bot experience will remain exclusively in the domain of Venice Unleashed. BF4 features a scripted story campaign following Recker and his squad. This is not a bot mode. The AI is heavily scripted, enemy spawns are fixed, and you cannot use the multiplayer maps or vehicles. EA does not officially endorse Venice Unleashed
