How does it actually sound? If you compare a Nakamichi Dragon to the CT-8R:

The blue-green display dims over time. Worse, the high voltage driver transistors for the display run hot. If they burn out, the display goes dark. The deck still plays, but you lose the level metering. pioneer ct-8r
