The X5 include DSP-1 emulation. However, you cannot simply drag a ROM onto the SD card.
The vast majority of the SNES library—over 90%—uses no special enhancement chips. These games will run on the Super Everdrive X5. Here is a sample of notable titles that work 100%:
Do not try to run unpatched DSP-1 ROMs. They will either black-screen or crash on the X5.
