Shinnosuke is backed by the Special Investigation Unit. Kiriko Shijima, his partner, is a strong-willed action heroine who assists in combat and investigation. The dynamic is rounded out by Mr. Belt (Krim Steinberger), the sentient AI who provides the technology, and the comedic relief characters who gradually develop into beloved allies.
