Interestingly, the Taxi DLC is relatively inexpensive. Thus, the RUNE release may cater not to cost-avoidance but to (no Steam client required) or modular experimentation (test before buying). Some users download RUNE releases to evaluate DLC depth, then purchase legitimately—a phenomenon the scene calls “try before buy.”
