Before installing, check your "Programs and Features" (Add/Remove Programs). If you see "Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio 2008" (x86 or x64), uninstall it. Also look for newer versions (e.g., Version 13.0). Mixing versions on the same machine is a recipe for Assembly Binding failures.
