Between September 27 and November 10, 2020, Azerbaijan and Armenia fought a brutal conflict over the Nagorno-Karabakh region. The war lasted 44 days, ending in an Azerbaijani victory and the restoration of territorial integrity. For the Turkic world — especially Turkey and Azerbaijan — those 44 days were a modern epic.
