Do not use Sony Vegas 7.0b for modern workflows. It cannot edit H.264 or H.265 video from your phone or DSLR. It will crash on 4K media. It does not understand modern audio drivers (WASAPI) well. And it lacks modern codec licensing for YouTube uploads (you would need to use a third-party encoder like HandBrake).

However, modern Vegas Pro supports 4K, 8K, HEVC, and has GPU acceleration. If you loved 7.0b, you will feel at home in the latest version, but you will be shocked by the price (subscription model vs. perpetual license back then). Do not use Sony Vegas 7
