V12 brought the configuration of SINAMICS drives deeper into the TIA ecosystem. Before this, integrating drives often required exporting and importing files or using standalone software. With v12, the integration allowed for the dragging and dropping of drive profiles directly into the project. The telegrams (communication packets) between the PLC and the drive were automatically wired, significantly reducing commissioning time.
