At the time of writing (2026), there are rumors in Scania developer forums about expected to launch with the Scania electric truck line (BEV). v20 is said to incorporate post-quantum cryptography (NIST’s CRYSTALS-Kyber). For now, version 19 remains the industry standard for all diesel and hybrid Scania vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2026.
