As of 2025, official English physical releases of Version 0.8 are extremely rare and out of print. The original 1990s Dark Horse comics are not Version 0.8. To read the true "beta" version, you will likely need to find fan-translations that label the chapters specifically as "Version 0.8 Chapter 1," etc. Because of the niche complexity, these are treasures of the scanlation community.
