The stock BIOS is locked for some OEM features, but you can access advanced settings by pressing or F2 during boot. If the splash screen hides prompts, repeatedly tap Tab to disable the splash and show POST.

The rev 1.0 is distinct from rev 1.1 or rev 1.2. Rev 1.0 strictly uses DDR3 memory, while later revisions sometimes used DDR2. Do not attempt to install DDR2; the notch is in a different position.
