Street Fighter 2008- The Balance Edition -mugen-.zip

By 2008, the MUGEN engine (originally released by Elecbyte in 1999) was in a state of chaos. The internet was flooded with "unlimited" characters—screen-filling supers, one-hit kills, and broken AI that would juggle you to death before the announcer finished saying "Fight!"

MUGEN creators wanted to fix this. They wanted to create a world where Dan Hibiki could stand a chance against Magneto. "Street Fighter 2008 - The Balance Edition" is a love letter to that desire. It represents the community's attempt to "fix" fighting games, smoothing out the tiers and making every character viable. While purists might argue that breaking the game is part of the fun of classic fighters, these MUGEN builds offered an alternative fantasy of a perfectly balanced roster.
