Studio Bones rose to the occasion. While the first few episodes had some mixed CGI (particularly for the massive Decay sequences), the key fights—Deku vs. Shigaraki, Endeavor vs. Shigaraki, and the Todoroki family confrontation—are animated with incredible fluidity and impact.
The English dub remains excellent, with Justin Briner (Deku) and Christopher Sabat (All Might) delivering career-best performances, particularly in the "Deku vs. Class 1-A" confrontation. Boku no Hero Academia 6th Season
The season’s first cour (episodes 1-13) is a masterclass in relentless tension. The heroes’ initial advantage crumbles when Shigaraki, still undergoing his "Perfect Body" procedure, awakens prematurely. He unleashes his Quirk, Decay , on a massive scale, wiping out an entire city district and a significant portion of the hero forces in seconds. The emotional core of this half is the brutal defeat of Pro Hero Crust , the psychological breakdown of Best Jeanist , and the horrifying reality that the "symbol of peace" is no longer enough. Twice’s final stand is one of the most heartbreaking moments in the series' history. The animation team pours immense effort into his character, making his desperation palpable. His death serves as the catalyst for Himiko Toga’s descent into true madness, adding a layer of tragedy to the villains that complicates the audience's feelings.
